Forgiveness of self and others is a key aspect within the healing process and doing so responsibly requires guidance and support. The deep feeling of healing flourishes in an atmosphere of safety. We open up when we feel safe. We take risks when we feel safe. Most of the time people feel safe when they are with others who are very accepting, caring and compassionate. In order to feel new levels of renewal and wholeness we must learn to forgive ourselves; cultivating compassion, self-care and deep acceptance within, as well as taking ownership of our experience, actions and results.
